Revolutionary 20-Minute Body Contouring
Backed by years of proven clinical success in the field of body contouring, Alma has designed their Accent Prime platform, which combines the latest innovations in ultrasound and radiofrequency (RF) technologies to deliver effective, highly customized treatment with natural, long-lasting results. A top-of-the-line workstation for body contouring and skin tightening, Accent Prime features an UltraSpeed applicator that combines longitudinal and transverse wave technology to selectively target fat cells, while leaving the surrounding tissues unharmed. UltraSpeed is designed using a sonotrode plate, which emits ultrasonic waves through concentric profiles to heat the target tissue. With a grid size of 600 square centimeters that covers a large treatment area, treatment time for the full abdominal area is reduced to approximately 20 minutes. The vibrations disrupt fat cell membranes, leading to gradual breakdown and release of stored fat. Damaged adipocytes are then disposed from the body through the lymphatic system.

ALMA-Q employs a unique two-stage approach with two distinct modes of laser delivery to maximize the effectiveness of the carbon peel treatment. During the first stage, the Quasi-Long Pulse laser gently heats the water molecules in the cream, allowing the carbon to bond well to the skin and to the content within the pores. At the second stage, the short pulse Q-Switched laser breaks up the carbon into fine particles. The 1064 nm wavelength is highly absorbed by the particles, thereby destroying the carbon and removing the dead skin cells, oils, and impurities that were bound to it. Furthermore, the applicator delivers parallel beams of energy to the target tissue with minimal dispersion, regardless of distance from the skin. “This approach allows practitioners to administer treatment without direct contact with the skin and carbon cream, providing better visibility of the treatment area,” explains Dayan.

In addition to deep exfoliation and skin resurfacing, the high-energy collimated laser beam creates controlled thermal damage to the epidermis-dermis interface. This thermal effect decreases pore size, shrinks the sebaceous glands resulting in reduced sebum production, and stimulates collagen remodeling, reducing fine lines and the initial signs of aging.
